Lactococcus lactis strain D1813 was isolated from the intestine of wild kuruma shrimp (Marsupenaeus japonicus). This strain improves fish and shrimps immune and digestion system.
Lactococcus lactis promote immunostimulatory activity, improve feed conversion rate(FCR), and stimulate growth rate. Lactococcus lactis -fed fish and shrimp show resistance to pathogens.
